Thanksgiving is a National time for celebration, but not
necessarily one that is good for your pet. Here are some tips
to insure Thanksgiving is happy for all.
With a table full of meats, gravy, and side dishes, it is so
tempting to invite all family members to join in the feast,
including your Pets. But remember this food can be too rich
and unhealthy or even fatal. Poultry bones are small and can
splinter, causing choking and digestive problems. Remember to
remind guests not to serve your pets. Give your pets a few
extra pets treats to celebrate the day.
Keep left over secured, if the smell of a cooked turkey is
wonderful to us, just imagine what scent does to your them.
Make sure your pets stay away from the garbage and keep
leftovers out of reach after the feast.
Remember some pets do not understand the intrusion on there
living space if you have a pet that has a tendencies to
protect its environment try to keep them away from the party.
Friends and relative often think OH WHAT A CUTE DOG OR CAT.
If you’re having a number of guests, consider putting your
pets in a separate room with some toys, water and a
comfortable place to lie, check on them often. They’ll be
thankful to have the peace and quiet, and YOU THE PEACE OF
MIND and they will be less likely to sneak out the door when
guests enter or leave.
Happy Thanksgiving
